Website Changes

We have made some changes to the design of the Big Ideas Math website. We hope that these changes will make things easier to find and use, and improve your overall experience.

Home Tab

Clicking on the book covers will take you to a page that describes the features of our program.

Choose Your Program

The Choose Your Program drop down list allows students and parents to select the program they are using. This drop down list is available at the top of every page.

Teachers Tab

The items on the Teachers Tab have been reorganized into groups. These groups are Teach Your Lesson, Plan Your Lesson, Response to Intervention (RTI), and Additional Student Tools.

Students Tab

The content on the Students Tab has been reorganized by chapter. Clicking on a chapter title will display all the content available for that chapter. The glossaries, Skills Review Handbook, Basic Skills Handbook, and Game Closet activities are available on the left side of the page.

Parents Tab

The Parents Tab has been reorganized to provide more information about each of the items that is available to parents. Any items that are highlighted in yellow are links to content.

We have also added a blog and forums. These are available from the links on the bottom of the page.

Blogging in Florida Begins

Implementation of Big Ideas Math is underway in Florida. It has been exciting for me to visit many districts, teachers, and classrooms since August. Although all of Florida is struggling since the state’s new standards are so different, I applaud all of our users for working so diligently during this transition year.

I am always available to you for any assistance you need.
