YAY! Im so happy that now I finally have a math book that will help me instead of just giving me a problem to do. These books rock! My parents are happy that they have something that is able to take me step by step like when they were in school. :)

School District 11 is a thriving school district located primarily in the middle of Colorado Springs. They have wonderful and innovative middle schools, including Jenkins and the SAIL Program at West Middle School(on the other side of I-25). District 11 has truly regained its place as the Colorado Springs District of Choice. The use of the Big Ideas Math Curriculum is just another fine example of District 11's commitment to providing the best for students in our community.

Hi Julie -

The Dynamic Student Edition should currently be working on Android devices. Our technology team is checking on the issue. Can you tell me any more about what isn't working? Thank you!

Will your student edition be compatible with android tablets by fall? I want my kids to be able to use their personal android devices in my classroom but when I tested it on my android tablet (Xoom) it does not work.

Thanks,
Julie

I really enjoy the perspective of homework that you gave. With every tool that you provide, you have to provide structure around using the tool, or there is no purpose, and a greater chance that students will not do it. Assigning multiple problems that test the same thing does not necessarily allow all students to 'understand' the homework...especially if they are doing it inaccurately every time and the student is only copying to get it done and get a grade. Checking every problem for the teacher is also tedious. Why not check two problems and let the students have access to each other for help prior to passing it in for a grade.
